Sir Syed Foundation Lucknow
In 2022, Dr. Mohammad Mubashir, a senior Alig and a prominent surgeon in the city donated 42,000 sq ft of land for the purpose of setting up an educational institution starting with a school. In this regard, a trust by the name of 'Sir Syed Foundation Lucknow' was registered on 12th December 2022 under the aegis of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys’ Association, Lucknow. It has been unanimously decided that the President and Secretary of AMUOBA Lucknow will be among the trustees of the Sir Syed Foundation Lucknow by virtue of their posts.

Nation-building through Education
Preliminary drawings of the Sir Syed Mission School building have been prepared in compliance with the rules of the CISCE board. The estimated cost of this project will be 20 crores approximately, excluding the cost of the land donated by Dr. Mubashir. The initial plan involves establishing a school that will consist of classes up to the 8th grade, with further plans to expand its offerings to include classes up to the 10th grade, and finally up to the 12th grade. In the first phase, the ground and first floors will be constructed, followed by the remaining floors in subsequent phase.
