A special program was organised on Wednesday, 11 February, at the Sir Syed Mission School site, Lucknow, on the occasion of the visit of Mr. Urfi Kidwai and Ms. Shazia Kidwai of ‘Andaz-e-Bayan Aur’ fame. The distinguished guests, who are based in Dubai, were on a short visit to Lucknow.
The programme commenced with the Tilawat of the Holy Qur’an by Mohammad Khalid (ISHU). Mr. Anwar Habeeb Alvi delivered the introductory and welcome remarks. Bouquets were presented to the esteemed guests by Mr. Muinuddin, Mr. Shahid Iqbal Abbasi, and Dr. Suhail Ahmad Farooqui and Anwar Habeeb Alvi.
Mr. S.M. Shoeb, President AMUOBA Lucknow, presented a detailed overview of the Sir Syed Mission School project, highlighting its vision, objectives, and the progress of construction.
Dr. Ismat Malihabadi, Mr Mohammad Khalid, and Dr. Suhail Ahmad Farooqui also addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the initiative.
On this occasion, Mr. Ziauddin Mohammad, a senior Alig, generously presented a cheque of Rs. 50,000 towards the project.

In their addresses, Mr. Urfi Kidwai and Ms. Shazia Kidwai appreciated the efforts of the team and extended their full support to the project. Their encouraging words greatly boosted the morale of all present.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Hina Jafri.
After the formal programme, all dignitaries visited the school building and reviewed the ongoing construction work.
The event concluded with high tea.
